Quicken is a personal finance tool developed by Intuit, Inc. Although developed by the same company, Quicken for Mac is different from Quicken for Windows, so you are unable to transfer data between the two programs. You can, however, import from Quicken for Mac to Excel for Windows. Quicken for Mac comes with a very useful export feature that can export your financial data in Excel format. All you have to do is transfer the exported file to the Windows computer.
1.Open Quicken on your Mac and open the file you want to export to Excel.
2.Click on the 'Export Data' button on the toolbar.

Select the 'To Excel Compatible Format' option to ensure the resulting file can be imported in Excel.
4.Type a name for your new file in the 'File name' text box.
5.Use the integrated file browser to select a folder in which to save the new file.
6.Insert the USB flash drive in one of your Mac's free USB ports.
7.Use the Finder to copy the file you exported from Quicken to the USB flash drive. Disconnect the drive from your Mac.
8.Insert the USB drive in one of your computer's free USB ports. Windows recognizes it as an external storage device and assigns a new drive to it.
10.Go to the 'File' menu and select 'Open.' Use the resulting file browser to navigate to the USB flash drive, select the file exported from Quicken and click 'Open' to import it into Excel.
Tip
- You can also send the file by email or burn it to a CD.
